Cancellation Policy for Provenshop Plus

Effective Date: 28 April 2026

At Provenshop Plus, we strive to provide a smooth and reliable experience for shopping, cab booking, rentals, and service bookings. This Cancellation Policy outlines the rules and conditions for canceling orders and bookings made through the Provenshop Plus platform.

By using Provenshop Plus, you agree to this Cancellation Policy.


1. Product Order Cancellation

a) Cancellation Before Confirmation

Users may cancel an order before it is accepted or confirmed by the store/vendor.

In such cases:

  • No cancellation charges may apply
  • Full refund will be initiated if payment was already completed

b) Cancellation After Order Confirmation

Once an order is:

  • Accepted,
  • Packed,
  • Prepared,
  • Dispatched, or
  • Out for delivery,

Cancellation may not be allowed.

In certain situations, cancellation requests may still be reviewed based on:

  • Vendor approval
  • Delivery status
  • Product category

2. Perishable & Special Products

Orders containing perishable or sensitive products such as:

  • Dairy products
  • Fresh vegetables and fruits
  • Non-veg items
  • Prepared food items

may not be eligible for cancellation once processing has started.

Customized or special-order products may also be non-cancelable.


3. Cab Booking Cancellation

a) User Cancellation

Users may cancel cab bookings before the ride begins.

However:

  • Cancellation fees may apply depending on the cancellation timing
  • Charges may increase if the driver has already arrived or traveled toward the pickup location

Repeated unnecessary cancellations may result in temporary account restrictions.


b) Driver Cancellation

If the assigned driver cancels the ride:

  • Users may receive a full eligible refund (if prepaid)
  • Another driver may be assigned depending on availability

4. Service Booking Cancellation

Users can cancel booked services before the service provider starts the assigned work.

Cancellation eligibility depends on:

  • Time of cancellation
  • Type of service
  • Service provider policies

Some bookings may include non-refundable convenience or booking charges.


5. Rental Booking Cancellation

Rental bookings may be canceled according to the rental provider’s cancellation rules.

Cancellation charges may vary based on:

  • Booking duration
  • Time remaining before rental start
  • Type of rented item or vehicle

Security deposits may be withheld partially or fully in cases of:

  • Damage
  • Misuse
  • Late return
  • Violation of rental terms

6. Automatic Cancellation by Provenshop Plus

Provenshop Plus reserves the right to cancel orders or bookings in cases such as:

  • Product or service unavailability
  • Incorrect pricing or technical issues
  • Failed payment verification
  • Suspected fraudulent activity
  • Safety or operational concerns

Eligible refunds will be processed when applicable.


7. Refunds for Canceled Orders

Where applicable, refunds for canceled orders/bookings are generally processed within 5–10 business days through the original payment method.

Actual processing time may vary depending on:

  • Banks
  • Payment gateways
  • UPI providers
  • Card networks

8. Abuse of Cancellation Policy

Users must not misuse the cancellation feature.

Accounts may be suspended or restricted for:

  • Frequent unnecessary cancellations
  • Fraudulent behavior
  • Abuse of offers or promotional systems
  • False booking activities

9. Changes to This Policy

Provenshop Plus reserves the right to modify or update this Cancellation Policy at any time without prior notice.

Updated policies will be posted within the app or official platforms.
